Configuration confirms that a server credential is present. A successful request confirms that the selected operation works. Model and quantum jobs are not launched from this explorer.

Sources, mathematics & scope

Geography with provenance

The global surface is the WGS 84 ellipsoid. Measured local relief is a separate, coarse elevation grid; it does not replace the entire globe with terrain tiles. Sunlight uses an approximate ephemeris. All observations show their own timestamps.

The optional 8K map composite is by Solar System Scope, obtained from Wikimedia Commons, under CC BY 4.0. The image file is unchanged; this viewer applies lighting. It is a stylized composite, not a current satellite observation.

Honest limits

Weather, fires, earthquakes, aircraft, ISS and vessel data are requested snapshots. An empty vessel sample does not mean an area has no ships. Provider availability is established by a successful request, not by the presence of a credential.

Global terrain tiles, bathymetry, volumetric clouds, ocean simulation, orbit propagation and model inference are not implemented here. The optional art relief is explicitly invented. The separate Lunar engine remains independent.
